Had been putting off purchasing a water softener for a couple yrs. Finally caved in and started researching. Came across the water filter guru on youtube and several others then did research on my own. I decided to reach out to water filter guru and their response and tips were great. Really assisted me in learning. I was first looking at a cheaper brand from my local lowes but heard bad experiences with delivery. Purchased a system I feel after reading that will last yrs to come. Hired a local plumber but waiting on my install date to come. The calcium build up in the house has been insane and skin always feels dry and itchy. What a wealth of knowledge! I've found the Water Filter Guru website to be helpful for anything and everything water related - their content is easy to read, they have a huge library of information to reference and they are incredibly helpful and prompt if you reach out directly. I bought a home on a private well and had to go through the process of shocking my well, testing the water and then had to choose both a water softener and RO system for our drinking water.
